President, Scott Luers called the March meeting of the WPA to order at 1:45 p.m. at the home of Randy Hutchison.
Introductions were made as there were many faces present.

Secretary, Kimberlee Raymond read the minutes from the January meeting.  As there were no corrections, motions were made and carried that minutes be approved as read.

Treasurer, Deb Palmer read the treasurers report.  She reported of bills paid and deposits made.  As there were no corrections, motions were made and carried to accept the report as read.

Claims Committee:  Bridge Buster paperwork has all been filed and is complete.

National News:  none.

Correspondence: There is a new letter from the PLP, if you wish to read it, please contact Deb Palmer.
A letter from Francis Oline on his move to the VA hospital and letters from other members as well.

Reclamation Committee: Hole on Yankee remains open and as weather permits we will work on more.
Motions were made and carried for the club to purchase more fencing to be placed around prospecting holes we leave open and some fencing was donated by the Schmidts.

Old Business: Scott will check on pricing to advertise in the newspapers about joining the club.
We will schedule a May or June work outing, to be discussed at the next meeting.

New business: Club Outing planned for June 27 - 29th.  There will be only (1) one club provided meal on Saturday evening of Steaks, hot dogs.  Please plan to bring a covered dish for that meal.  You are responsible for all other meals while you are there.  We need volunteers for committees so please help out.  We have the following committees started.
     Jacque Schmidt- food
     Deb Palmer will call and check on outhouses.
     Les Armstrong will head the metal detecting contest for big and small.
     Raymonds will get the ice.

There are many other things that need done so please let someone know if there is something you wish to help with.

Notice was given to please start thinking about nominees for next years officers so those who have been serving can take a break.

Day in the Park-  July 12th We will have a booth this year.  Set up is from 6-8 a.m. and the booth is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Some volunteers will be needed.

Next meeting will be April 12th, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at he Miners Grubstake in Atlantic City.

Meeting adjourned at 2:30 p.m.
The 50/50 raffle was won by Jim Brines, congrats.
Congrats to all who won prizes in the club raffle.
