The WPA (Wyoming Prospectors Association) was established to promote
prospecting, small mining and access to our public lands, But most of all
to have some fun and get some gold.
Our members have access to hundreds of acres of mining claims and miles of streams. Every year we acquire a few more claims and we hope to add to that total this year. Currently all of our claims are in the South Pass/Atlantic City area but our members are actively seeking claims in other areas of the state. If you are a claim owner or own private land that has gold on it we
would very interested in negotiating with you our offers to managing these
lands/claims for you in exchange for giving our members access to your
land/claims.
