The Sixth annual WPA outing
was a great success and fun for all
We had beautiful weather for the whole weekend....maybe a little
to hot but nice.
Friday we went to the Mary D 5 claim and gathered some dirt to run
at the outing.
People started gathering for the morning miners meeting.
After the meeting everyone set up thier equipment.
 
 
 
 
There was a lot of different kinds of equipment some bought
some home made but everyone had fun running them.
 
 
 
There was a metal detecting contest for the young and old
 
 
There was a lot of good food brought in for the pot luck dinner
on Saturday and left overs for lunch on Sunday.
The monthly meeting for July followed dinner.
 
 
 
Sunday they finished cleaning the gold. We didn't find enough this
time to split so the club added some gold to the draw.
