WPA
2007 Outing

The seventh annual WPA outing was fun for all ages

Saturday moring Carl Provided a sour dough pancake breakfast for all.

After breakfast there was a miners meeting explaining the rules.

After the meeting we began to run the pile from different areas.

As hot as it was some people cheated and shaded up well.

Shade was at a premium.

The kids had a great time at the metal detecting contest.

The adults had a great time also but between both adults and kids we left some money on the hill.

Some of the gold from the trommel operation

The last piece of gold we found in the pile at the trommel. This weighed 1 DWT which is 24 grains or 1.558 grams
